- For the batter- Take 1 egg,1 tablespoon arrowroot,salt to taste,1/2 teaspoon of chilli flakes.Now mix all the ingredients and add beer/plain soda water.The consistency of the batter should be thick like a coating on the fish fillets.Too much watery or too thick batter won't work well.So be careful about the consistency of the batter.
